Let us not forget that Skyros is in the center of the Aegean Sea and it is very windy. The old name of the island was "Anemoessa" (= the mother of all winds). With a couple of forces less wind than Kalamitsa it's better suited to kitesurf.
Quality: Crystal Clear
Depth: Deep (deepens abruptly)
Seabed: Sand, Reefs
Attention: Reefs
Northerly winds occasionally wrap waves around a point further up the beach. The ideal conditions are rare and usually the wavy water has crazy "washing machine".
The beach is wild and rocky. The waters are relatively deep, as all the northern beaches. After three steps it is lapsed, as in winter the wave strikes the shore and make large dents. Be careful of the reefs, especially at the east and west side of the bay, and of course of the visible islands deeper into the sea.
