At Dioni beach (Tsimari), a place with a unique topography and unique beauty, the first Kitesurf festival was held on July 30th and 31st by West Coast Kitesurf Team!

The festival was attended by officially registered 35 athletes from many parts of Greece, such as from Athens, Thessaloniki, Arta, Lefkada, Nafpaktos, Aegio, Patras, Pyrgos, Nafplio, Volos, Kalamata, Halkida, and from abroad like Slovenia and the Czech Republic.

During the Festival, informal freestyle and speed races were held (Saturday and Sunday respectively), in which 22 athletes participated in.
