"Hard core" is the word that describes the 1st Wave Festival in Crete which took place at Faneromeni rocky gulf on 28-30 of August.
The first day a very good forecast gave us fine conditions with waves up to 2,5 m sideshore. Athletes from all over Crete and Athens was the promise for a really good and extreme show.
Because of the spot (really craggy) and the excessive effords, the competitors were going off the pitch frequently destroying their equipment. However they gave us really good rides, Off the lip, Gu screws and interesting effords of Goiters.
